“As of now the Lewisville Lake level is at 534.39 feet msl.This exceeds the highest it got in 2007 at 534.02. The overall record was 1990, at 536.64. We are 2 feet and some inches below that record. Another big storm predicted for this evening, most likely a record rainfall for May.”
PER THE FLEET CAPTAIN, AS OF 10 AM, MAY 28:
Lake Level:534.37′
Feet above Conservation Pool:12.37′
Feet over Flood Pool:2.37′
Corps is releasing 6516 cubic feet per second
PER THE HARBOR MASTER, AS OF NOON, MAY 27:
“Power is cut off to all docks. Lake level is at 534+’. Also,Mark needs some help on dock 1 and the floating break water,which sustained some damage from the 50+ winds last evening. If you are available, give him a call to see what time he will be ready for your help.
Access to docks 1 & 2 is hazardous at best, so please be cautious when venturing to those areas. Power to the docks will remain off, until the water recedes below the 532′ line. Work will continue on Dock 1 this Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.”
